December 17, 2025 — The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China has approved the release of 748 industry standards under Announcement No. 41 of 2025. Among these, three recommended industry standards related to the rolling bearings sector have been published, representing significant updates to technical requirements and specifications for key bearing product categories.
The newly issued standards in the rolling bearings field are as follows:
1. JB/T 5305–2025
Title: Rolling Bearings — Thrust Ball Bearings with Spherical Washers — Product Geometry Specifications (GPS) and Tolerances
Scope and Key Content:
This standard specifies the product geometry specifications (GPS) and tolerance values for thrust ball bearings equipped with spherical washers. It applies to unidirectional thrust ball bearings of the 53000 and 53000U series and bidirectional thrust ball bearings of the 54000 and 54000U series with spherical washers, whose overall dimensions conform to GB/T 28697–2012 and ordinary tolerance grades.

2. JB/T 5306–2025
Title: Spherical Plain Bearings — Ball Stud Rod End Bearings
Scope and Key Content:
This standard defines the designation method, structural configurations, boundary dimensions, and technical requirements for ball stud rod end bearings. It also describes the relevant inspection methods and specifies rules for testing, marking, rust-proof packaging, transportation, and storage. The standard applies to the manufacture of ball stud rod end spherical plain bearings.

3. JB/T 8919–2025
Title: Rolling Bearings — Insert Bearings and Eccentric Sleeves — Technical Specifications
Scope and Key Content:
This standard sets out the technical requirements for insert bearings and eccentric sleeves, along with corresponding inspection methods. It establishes rules for inspection, marking, and rust-proof packaging. The provisions apply to metric and inch-series insert bearings and eccentric sleeves whose dimensional characteristics comply with GB/T 3882–2017.
Replaces: JB/T 8919-2010
Effective Date: July 1, 2026
These newly released standards reflect ongoing efforts to modernize and harmonize product design, manufacturing precision, and quality control practices within the rolling bearings industry. By updating technical specifications and tolerances, they support improved product interchangeability, reliability, and international alignment of Chinese industrial standards.
