How to use the electric spindle in the right way?

The electric spindle is a kind of precision component with high speed and high rigidity. The spindle must be used strictly in accordance with the operating specifications, otherwise it will increase equipment failure and shorten equipment life. ZYS BEARING recommends the end user to follow the below rules during use:

⑴ Before starting the machine, first make sure that the spindle cooling system is working properly, and then turn on the electric spindle. It is strictly forbidden to use the spindle without cooling, so we must check whether the fan and pump are working properly before use. If the spindle is water-cooled, check whether the cooling water contains impurities and whether the water pipe is smooth.

⑵When using an electric spindle, we need to follow the principle of running the spindle from low to high speed, and then gradually increase the speed for preheating. When the spindle reaches the required speed and the no-load operation is stable, we can start processing. In this way, we can better protect the spindle and reduce its wear.

(3) It is strictly prohibited to knock or hit the spindle fixture and rotor end threads during the operation, so as not to reduce the service life of parts and affect the use effect of the spindle.

(4) During operation, the cutting tool must be replaced in the correct way. When loading the cutting tool, the force should be even, and the tool thread should be aligned with the rotor end thread, and then clamp. If we have to change the cutting tool during the operation, we need to wait for the spindle to cool down before replacing. 

(5) During the operation, if the fixture is stuck on the rotor end of the spindle, it is strictly prohibited to take out the fixture by tapping. The clamp can only be taken out with tools without damaging the rotor threads of the spindle, and the rotor taper holes and fixtures should be cleaned to avoid shortening the service life of the spindle and affecting the quality of the processed workpiece. If the fixture has completely lost its accuracy, it must be replaced immediately.
